CBS Fee Policy


In an effort to improve our payment process we continually review lost commissions received by our accounting department. In order to match these lost bookings we must have a CBS Form ("Central Booking System") completed for each booking that you make with Travel Network/Vacation Central. Click Here for Further Information about CBS Forms. Without a completed CBS Form your commission payments will be delayed while we attempt to locate the agent connected with the lost booking. This location process also creates a great amount of additional work in our commission department to match the agent with the booking.

This process is very time consuming for us and also creates a backlog of other work that we need to accomplish that would have been unnecessary had you followed our simple guideline of completing the necessary CBS Form.

Please also be advised that vendors call our headquarters office on a daily basis with crucial information regarding a booking such as a cancelled sailing, flight schedule changes, transfer information, passenger requests and many more situations affecting your clients. Without the CBS Form we cannot contact you regarding an issue or urgent matter that might effect your clients' booking.

You also deserve your commission as soon as we receive it, so we require you to complete the form directly after you make the booking. We do understand that this is a little extra work for you, but the results are you get your commission... and ON TIME!! This not only avoids lost bookings, but it also allows us to contact you immediately should the occasion arise.

Please do not wait for the completion of the booking. For example, if you have a Group Cruise, please enter a CBS Form immediately with the Group Number and the Individual Passengers confirmation numbers that you have immediately available. Keep in mind that others can be added as you book them.

Most agencies wait until travel has been completed before paying commissions. We have moved up the commission process based on when we receive the funds from the vendor and not following the completion of travel.

This provides you access to your commissions quicker thus helping your cash flow, but you must complete the CBS Form at the time of booking and not wait for a later date. In addition, by completing the CBS Form we can forward to you a copy of any vendor fax confirmations, and in the event that there are paper documents these can be mailed out immediately upon our receipt.

Although we prefer not to institute this company policy we began charging a $3 Non-Refundable Research Processing Fee per booking for all CBS Forms not entered into our system in a timely fashion. This $3 charge will be automatically deducted from your commission and is not refundable. The CBS Form is located under the Commission Tab on our agent website.

Please note that it is the responsibility of each of our agents to follow up directly with any vendors who have not paid your commissions to our office.
